Y este lunes pasado 31 de octubre realicé este taller en el precioso pueblo de Villanúa en la Cueva de las Guixas,

Y este próximo mes de julio vuelvo a exponer en Pirineos, pero esta vez en la localidad de Biescas, donde habrá pinturas nuevas además de los «Outsiders»/ And this coming July I will exhibit again in the Pyrenees, but this time in the town of Biescas, where there will be new paintings in addition to the «Outsiders»

Exposición de Pintura en Pirineos/ Painting Exhibition

Y esta Semana Santa inauguro esta exposición de Pintura en Pirineos. Todas las obras que
presento son óleos sobre pájaros, a los que llamo «Outsiders»:
“Outsiders”: Forasteros, extraños, intrusos, desconocidos, marginados, que no son aceptados por otros grupos de personas, organizaciones o sociedades y se sienten diferentes de todos aquellos.
Desde quien llega a un país que no es el suyo, a quién no encuentra su sitio o simplemente se siente fuera de lugar en momentos específicos de su vida, aquello que te hace moverte, buscar el sitio al que perteneces, o simplemente despegarte de aquel que no es el tuyo. Esta ha sido la premisa de la cual he partido en el comienzo de esta serie de cuadros en la que voy mostrando unos protagonistas “outsiders” del fondo. Un fondo al que no pertenecen, pudiendo ser plano y en exceso colorido como en el primer “Outsider” o incluso partiendo de un dibujo que pertenece a un imaginario extraño por completo a la realidad del pequeño trepador azul.
And this next month I have one exhibition in Pyrienees. All of this paintings are birds which ones I call «Outsiders»
“Outsiders”: Outsiders, strangers, intruders, strangers, marginalized, who are not accepted by other groups of people, organizations or societies and feel different from all those.
From those who arrive in a country that is not theirs, to those who cannot find their place or simply feel out of place at specific times in their lives, what makes you move, look for the place where you belong, or simply detach yourself from that which is not yours. This has been the premise from which I have started at the beginning of this series of paintings, in which I am showing some protagonists “outsiders” from the background. A background to which they do not belong, being able to be flat and excessively colorful as in the first “Outsider” or even starting from a drawing that belongs to an imaginary completely foreign to the reality of the little nuthatch.

Y parece que ya está en las librerías la tercera edición del Diccionario de José Miguel Navarro López con la última ampliación de entradas en la que se incluye mi ilustración del Hombre Mono del Pirineo. Bien chula que ha quedado, jé
And it seems that the third edition of the Dictionary of José Miguel Navarro López is already in the bookstores with the latest extension of entries in which my illustration of the Monkey Man of the Pyrenees is included. Very cool that has remained, yeah!

Y recién llegado a las librerías el último libro de José Miguel Navarro López «Un año en el Pirineo» en el que he tenido también el placer de participar con varias ilustraciones, entre ellas algunas de las que aquí subo, de la Bruja Guirandana, el Hombre mono de Laspuña, el arum italicum y la urraca y la dama./
And recently arrived at the bookstores the latest book by José Miguel Navarro López «A Year in the Pyrenees» in which I have also had the pleasure of participating with various illustrations, including some of the ones I upload here, by the Guirandana Witch, the Laspuña monkey man, the arum italicum and the magpie and the lady.
